Deviantart stuff

I don't know if you had a clue but I'm an ancient, skilled drawer and i sometimes make paintings with my phone. Many of those paintings are usually uploaded to Deviantart so that people and friends are able to see what I've done. I also make a lot of sketching and so i have the experience to draw some semi-professional paintings.

Lately I've been modeling in the 3D environment called Blender, which is a CAD software with physic engine , algorithm calculator, Python programming language etc. I've used those experiences to make DOTA2 mods for the Workshop. And there are really many reasons to be learning CAD or Blender. Since the dawn of the 3D printer era is on its way, it's best to be prepared.

To the point now. I've recently been making concept art for my 3D objects before making it in 3D to be able to share with friends and learn how they best like it and how it will turn out with most success. So right now you'll find some sketches, paintings and concepts in my Deviant Art gallery. You can find it in the link below:

Mini Sumo Robot FIght

At the Saturday last week i had a robot tournament hat i was going to participate in. As usual i came there a little unprepared cause my laptop that i was going to make he final adjustments with was refreshed and without any files. So i started to download the programs needed but it ended up in more installing and software problems. So what i did was to just finish up my code on the program, and then without debugging i transferred the file into my USB stick. In that way i was able to upload the program on a mates laptop and then just implement the code trough the laptop instead.

That worked out perfectly and my robot was ready to battle. The one and only problem then was the fact that my distance sensor, the sensor looking for targets, wasn't working because of some connection errors that somehow made the sensor to sense what the line sensor saw. So instead of looking forward it looked down where the line sensor looks, even if the physical sensor part was pointing straight forward. :O

Well, i just made a fail-safe program quickly and got on with the battles. Here are most of the battles from the championship:

Samsung Galaxy S3 most popular phone!

Samsung Galaxy S3 is now the worlds most popular phone. This information comes from the following page: Samsung Galaxy S III is the world most popular smartphone in Q3
I have always known that the S3 would break the iPhone. That's due to the fact that apple makes smart moves and holds the interface dummy friendly and simple, just as the majority of the customers want it to be. I however have never had anything apple related. However, I have the knowledge and interest to learn why apple is good or bad and why people buy iPhone's instead of androids or the windows phone versions.
The answer was simple: Apple made it easy, early and made a good UI and design. But nothing of this had with quality to do with so I started comparing the insides of the phones by making researchs on the phone specifications.
Apple has very modern specs with the maximum of hardware. That means that any other devices even had a hard time competing with hardware. However, Google android announced some incredible phones that could match the iPhone's and even defeat them in hardware. My now gone HTC Desire was such a phone, HTC's flagship. It was released a half year after the iPhone 3GS but even then it was more than twice as strong with its futuristic and superior Snapzdragon single core. Even if just that phone got lots of attention it wasn't sold in comparable amounts to the 3GS.
The most annoying part is that iPhone released the iPhone 4 half a year after the HTC Desire.  It had about the same specs and was both better and worse than the desire in many aspects. But people just wanted the design so they bought an outdated phone :(
Now, the Galaxy S3 has greatly beaten the 4S with about 6x times the processing power and with its HD 720p display and tons of features that even the IPhone 5 can't match. The S3 was released half a year from the IPhone 4S and just like the cycle of iPhone,  iPhone 5 came a half year after Galaxy S3.
iPhone 5 still has no chance to compete the specs with the S3 since it's greatly outmatched by the Galaxy device. A slower dual-core vs a stronger Quadra core.
Fast spec comparison:
Iphone 5:
CPU: dual-core 1, 2 (1, 3)GHz A9
GPU: 3mali 535
Memory: 16 - 64GB in, RAM-1GB
Display: 4, 1" qHD (1020x650)(340ppi)
Battery life: 1450 mAh (8h full use)
Galaxy S3:
CPU: Quad-core 1, 4GHz A15 (Exyno 5300)
GPU: mali 400
Memory: 16 - 64GB in, 4 - 64GB ex, RAM-1GB
Display: 4, 8" HD (1280x720p)(299ppi)
Battery life: 2100 mAh (11h full use)
(New) HTC DROID HD:

Android Gaming Tablet

If you're like old me and love to play video games then this is great news for you! Android is releasing a new gaming tablet with built on joysticks and buttons for just that task.
News tells us that the table who is named WikiPad was supposed to be released this week, however it turns out gamesrop (who is the seller) have encountered some difficulties that will delay it.
The WikiPad's specs are not mush revealed but it has a quad-core tegra 3 processor wish means that it will have a clock speed of about 1, 5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM memory.  Not the fastest and latest of hardware but it's modern and made specifically for gaming.
The display is also 10"with a resolution of what I would gates is a 1280x720 HD display. of
